I reported live on Facebook from the scene of this crash.  I initially said that the White Dodge Ram truck may have been involved.  Based on witness statements at the scene, I changed that report to saying that the white Dodge Ram truck was not involved in this crash.  Later in the day, HSPD Officer Williams advised me that this was a 2 vehicle collision in which the westbound, white SUV collided with the rear of the westbound white Ram truck.  After colliding with the truck, the SUV exited the left side of the pavement, entered the grassy median, slammed into a tree, came back into the eastbound lanes and came to final rest partially blocking the road.

Hot Springs Fire & Rescue Troops were very quick to respond.  They sent a Rescue Truck, an Engine and the Shift Commander to assist.

LifeNet dispatched at least 1 Ambulance Crew to the scene.  1 injured juvenile was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Traffic Flow was interrupted for at least 40 minutes.
