On December 18 around 3:21am, Deputy Crow of the Garland County Sheriff’s Department responded to Valero at 130 Adam Brown Road in reference to a vehicle that had been parked at a pump for an hour. The driver was a probationer in possession of a controlled substance.
The driver, Cody Almond, 29, of Dan Daley Road in Hot Springs, was on probation with a search waiver on file. A K9 unit arrived on scene and the K9 alerted on the vehicle.
Almond was charged with public intoxication on February 26 after being too intoxicated to properly flee on foot, read the story here.
Crow searched the vehicle and found a toothbrush holder containing two hypodermic syringes. One of the syringes contained 30 units of methamphetamine and the other contained 40 units.
Almond was arrested and is charged with possession of a controlled substance less than 2 grams.
