The Garland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in any information regarding the
homicide of Calvin Ward.
On August 10, 2019 at approximately 1:31am deputies with the Garland County Sheriff’s Office as well
as fire fighters with the Morning Star Fire Department responded to a residential fire at 113 Black
Bear Lane. Upon later extinguishing the fire, fire fighters located a deceased male inside the residence
that was identified as 37-year-old Calvin Ward of Hot Springs.
