Press Release – HOT SPRINGS POLICE DEPARTMENT (Corporal Kirk Zaner)

On December 5, 2017 at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers with the Hot Springs Police Department located three deceased individuals at 208 Nevada Street. HSPD detectives responded to the scene and began a homicide investigation. On December 6, 2017, Nicholas Matthew Lewondowski, age 34 of Hot Springs was arrested for three counts of Capital Murder.
Positive identification through the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory was previously made on Paul D. Power, age 40, of Hot Springs. The two female victims have now been positively identified as Brenda Sue Lawson, age 60, of Hot Springs and Dory Ann Power, age 46, also of Hot Springs.
