Stover Street Shooting

On 8/11/17 at approximately 11:30pm, Officers responded to 502 Stover Street in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival officers located the victim James Puckett (47), laying on the front porch with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers also located the suspect Thomas Foster (55) at the scene and took him into custody.

During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that the shooting occurred during an argument between Foster and Puckett.

Thomas Foster, 55 – Charged with the shooting on Stover Street

Foster was charged with Battery 1st Degree, Domestic Battery 3rd and Criminal Mischief 1st. He is currently being held at the Garland County Detention Center.

Puckett is listed in stable condition at a (Central Arkansas) hospital.
