Press Release: Sheriff’s TRT & DTF Raid Meth Lab; Manhunt – FOUNTAIN LAKE

On June 8, 2018 Garland County Sheriff’s Department, 18th East DTF, Homeland Security Investigations, Hot Springs Police Department, and Arkansas State Police executed a narcotic search warrant at 124 Curtis Lane in North Garland County, Arkansas.

Garland County SRT team was used to make entry and secure the scene. Upon making entry, the target of the investigation, Rodney Blocker, fled out of a camper on the property and was unable to be located.

4 firearms, 1/4 ounce of methamphetamine, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia were located in this aforementioned camper.

An active methamphetamine lab and a large amount of components to manufacture methamphetamine were also located.

The Arkansas State Crime Lab is assisting in processing this lab.

A stolen pickup truck out of Sheridan was recovered on the property and the Sheridan Police Department has been notified.

Arkansas State Police Aircraft Section assisted on this operation.

Numerous felony warrants will be applied for in the upcoming days for Rodney Blocker.

Blocker has been a problem in Garland County for some time and shutting down his operation in North Garland County will be beneficial to the community.

This is an area that the suspect may have run through while fleeing. The meth lab scene was at least a 1/2 mile away. DTF and their associates had the perimeter on lockdown. No pics from that location.
