Press Release – HOT SPRINGS POLICE DEPARTMENT (Corporal Joey Williams)

On August 23, 2018, at 5:15am, Officers responded to Combined Federal Credit Union (203 Nash Street) in reference to the theft of the ATM machine. Upon arrival officers noted that the ATM was missing and extensive damage had been done to roof over the ATM. Witnesses stated that an unknown suspect used a fork lift to remove the ATM and load the machine into the back of a U-Haul truck. The suspect fled prior to officer’s arrival.

At 10:40am, Officers were called to Hot Springs High School, behind a baseball field, where a stolen U-Haul truck and Forklift were located, along with the stolen ATM. The ATM had been forced open and the money was taken.
