Press Release: Lakeshore Drive Shooting – HOT SPRINGS

Press Release – HOT SPRINGS POLICE DEPARTMENT (Corporal Kirk Zaner)

On April 13, 2017, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Hot Springs Police responded to a shooting at 838 Lakeshore Drive. Upon arrival, officer’s found Bobby Shane Herring, age 39, of Hot Springs, with a gunshot wound to his right torso.

Officer’s secured the scene and LifeNet transported Mr. Herring to an area hospital for treatment. Mr. Herring underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition.

Detectives are currently working to identify the suspect.
