Press Release – 18th Judicial District East Drug Task Force

25 Recent Arrests

On 4-16-18, multiple law enforcement agencies participated in a warrant round-up in and around the Hot Springs area.  The 18th Judicial District East Drug Task Force, under the direction of Prosecuting Attorney, Michelle Lawrence, coordinated the event with the following agencies:  The Garland County Sheriff’s Department, Hot Springs Police Department, Arkansas Community Corrections Special Response Team, Arkansas State Police, Homeland Security Investigations, United States Marshall Service, Diplomatic Security Service, Hot Springs Police Department Special Investigations Division, Garland County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Special Operations Unit, and the Garland County Detention Center.

A total of 25 individuals were arrested during the round-up.   Items recovered during the arrests include drug paraphernalia Items, 66 grams of methamphetamine, 39 grams of marijuana, one shotgun, one “sawed off” shotgun and one “defaced” handgun.

The 25 individuals and their charges are as follows:

Jalontae L. Blevins- Residential Burglary, Terroristic Threatening and Criminal Mischief 1st

Michael D. Collins Jr.  – Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession of a Schedule VI with the Purpose to Deliver, Possession of a Defaced Firearm, Residential Burglary, and Terroristic Threatening

Carmen Koloc –  Possession of a Controlled Substance

Amanda Reed –  Identity Theft

Latori Sanders – Forgery 2nd, Theft by Receiving

Antown L. Burns  –  Violation of Terms of Probation

Jason Lyon – Delivery of Methamphetamine

Timothy Ray Burton, Sr. — Possession of a Counterfeit Substance and Possession of Firearm by Certain Persons 

Jake Conway  – Delivery of Methamphetamine (2 counts); Fraudulent Use of a Communications Device (2 count);  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts); Unauthorized Use of Another Person’s Property and Possession of Methamphetamine or Cocaine with the Purpose to Deliver 

Matthew L. Cannon –  Delivery of Methamphetamine

Krystal Fulton –  Theft by Receiving 

Kaitlynn Marie McIntosh – Forgery 2nd and Obtaining Controlled Substance by Fraud

Devin W Westin — Violation of Terms of Probation or Parole; Residential Burglary 

Freeman Loy —  Violation of Terms of Probation or Parole

Michelle Young — Theft of Property

Vincent Sanders – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver; Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Endangering the Welfare of Minor and Possession of a Defaced Firearm

Marquista Paschal — Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms;  Possession of a Defaced Firearm; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver; Endangering Welfare of a Minor

Danny Bishop — Possession of Methamphetamine with the Purpose to Deliver

Derrick Jackson — Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine or Cocaine)

Ashley Jensen — Delivery of Methamphetamine

Ashley Jensen — Delivery of Methamphetamine

Latori Sanders — Forgery 2nd and Theft by Receiving

Dustin Bradbury  — Forgery 2nd 

Keith Willis  — Delivery of Methamphetamine

And an additional juvenile arrest (*juvenile suspect’s identities are not released) for Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession of a  Defaced Firearm; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Schedule IV with Purpose to Deliver.
