Before you acquaint yourself with the press release for this event, I want to point out that Tim Martin, 37, was the victim of a shooting in the March 2017 shootout at the Grand Avenue/Central Avenue Intersection where 36 shots were fired and 3 people were shot.

Press Release – HOT SPRINGS POLICE DEPARTMENT (Corporal Kirk Zaner)

On July 16, 2017, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at Boot Scooters, located at 421 Broadway.

Upon arrival, officers found Timothy Martin, age 37, deceased inside a vehicle in the parking lot. Mr. Martin, who is from Hot Springs had been shot. HSPD detectives are currently interviewing witness and following up on leads. No suspects are known at this time.
