Public Release – HOT SPRINGS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Aggravated Robbery suspect, James Chase (DOB: 05/14/65) has been arrested. Chase was located on 03/07/2019 at approximately 1:40 a.m. and was taken into custody with no further incident.

We want to thank everyone who called HSPD and provided information.

WANTED: Aggravated Robbery Suspect James Lee Chase53, of Hot Springs

On Friday March 1st, the Hot Springs Police Department responded to the Shell Gas Station at 900 East Grand, in reference to an Aggravated Robbery. Upon further investigation and with tips from Social Media, the suspect has been identified as James Lee Chase (5/14/65) of Hot Springs.

We have Felony Warrants for Aggravated Robbery (Y Felony) and Theft of Property by Threat (B Felony). Chase is possibly using taxi services and staying in local motels in the Hot Springs area. He may also be using a bicycle as a form of transportation (see attached photo).

If you recognize James Chase, do not approach him and call 911.
