Arkansas Community Corrections Special Response Team captured a wanted federal fugitive and absconding parolee, Jeremy Allen Bassford, 44, of Hot Springs, in Eastern Garland County this afternoon.
Mr. Bassford was wanted by the United States Marshals Service for a Federal Probation Warrant, local Failure To Appear Warrants x4, and State Parole Violation.
ACC/SRT Agents developed information that Parolee Bassford was located at a residence in the area of Foxpass Cutoff. Agents contacted the Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol and together, they headed for the residence to effect the arrest.
Parolee Bassford was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing. He is charged with Felony Failure To Appear x2, Misdemeanor Failure To Appear x2, and Parole Violation. hold for the U.S. Marshals was placed and he is being held without bond.
