Arkansas Parole/Probation Officer Taylor and Hot Springs Police Detective Threadgill report the following:
On or about September 27, 2019, at approximately 3:45pm Bobby Nutt came to the Hot Springs Probation/Parole Office for his scheduled office visit.
I (Off. Taylor) asked Bobby Nutt if he had anything inside the vehicle he was driving and he stated that he had a little bit of marijuana inside the vehicle. I pat searched Bobby Nutt and he had $520.00 on his person and placed him in restraints.
I received information that Bobby Nutt could have illegal drugs in his vehicle and that he could possibly be using, selling drugs, and posting videos of what could be him involved in criminal activity.
I went and searched the vehicle that he was driving in the parking lot of the Probation/Parole Office. I searched the center console and found two baggies with marijuana inside. I searched the backseat and found a Micheal Jordan backpack and found a firearm (Glock) with a loaded magazine with a round in the chamber and a digital scale. Also inside that backpack was a package baggie with what appeared to be a powder type substance inside. Hot Springs Police Department was called to assist with the investigation.
I, Det. Ty Threadgill #163, responded to the Garland County Detention Center to assist Probation and Parole with the arrest. I weighed the white powdery substance, at approximately 159.8 grams, the white powdery substance was field tested and had a positive reaction for the presumptive identification of cocaine. The marijuana was approximately 3.6 grams total. The Glock 9mm had one round in the chamber and 15 rounds in the magazine. All the evidence was collected and placed at the Hot Springs Police Department.
Bobby Nutt III has a Felony conviction on 9/22/14 for Hindering Apprehension, and Felony conviction on 09/15/14 for Possession With Purpose Of Meth Or Cocaine.
Parolee Nutt is charged with Felony Simultaneous Possession Of Drugs And Firearms, Felony Possession Of Methamphetamine Or Cocaine With Purpose To Deliver, Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Felony Firearm Possession, and Possession Of A Schedule VI Controlled Substance, with a bond amount totaling $50,000 and a zero bond parole hold placed.
