Off Probation 1 day; Stabs Pregnant Woman In The Neck – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police were dispatched to Watt Street Early Tuesday Morning for the call of a woman that had been stabbed in the neck.

Hot Springs Police Officers and the LifeNet Ambulance Crew responded to Watt Street and located the victim.  HSPD Corporal May along with Officers Sampson and Greene found the suspect, Joleen Kylette Grier, 37 around the corner on Linwood Street.

Ms. Grier repeatedly yelled to officers that she “…did not know she was pregnant…”.  She also yelled “…I just got off of probation yesterday.”

The victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Ms. Grier was arrested and charged with Felony Battery with a bond of $2,500.
