The Wood Street Shooting Scene from 10/7/2016

On March 13, 2017, the HSPD Criminal Investigation Division arrested Ricky Cleveland Alexander, age 58 of Hot Springs, Arkansas for Solicitation of Murder in the First Degree (Class A Felony). Hot Springs Police Detectives became aware on February 21, 2017 of Mr. Alexander’s plot to kill Amy Emley (victim). HSPD detectives worked in conjunction with the Garland County Prosecuting Attorney’s office to not only assure Amy Emley’s protection and safety, but to also obtain evidence against Ricky Alexander. After Mr. Alexander exchanged money to a confidential informant for the murder of Amy Emley, Mr. Alexander was arrested. Ricky Alexander was booked into the Garland County Detention Center on the above named charge. His bond is set at $750,000.

It should be noted, Ricky Alexander was out on bond at the time of his March 13, 2017 arrest. Mr. Alexander had previously been arrested for Battery in the First Degree, which stemmed from him attempting to shoot Shane Emley (Amy Emley’s husband) on October 7, 2016. During the shooting on October 7, 2016, Ricky Alexander shot Alvin Nobles.
