Hot Springs Police Officer McClean responded to Indiandale Apartments earlier this month in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, he made contact with the victim and two witnesses.
Off. McClean was advised that Elijah Plummer 4 , 28, of Sonnet Street in Hot Springs is the victim’s ex-boyfriend and father of her children. Mr. Plummer allegedly gained entry into the apartment through an unlocked rear window and attacked her with a metal crowbar. Mr. Plummer is accused of hitting the victim on the left ear with the crowbar causing redness, swelling, and small abrasions, also noted was a small scratch to the victim’s left arm.
The report states that Mr. Plummer then left out the front door but came right back in, while the victim retreated to the bedroom and locked the door. He allegedly began kicking the door so she locked herself in the adjoining bathroom. Mr. Plummer allegedly gained entry to the bedroom and attempted to force open the bathroom, but was unsuccessful. Mr. Plummer allegedly fled before officers arrived. Officer McClean spoke with witnesses who corroborated the victim’s statements. The crowbar was recovered and damage to the bedroom door was consistent with forced entry.
Mr. Plummer is charged with Felony Domestic Battery and Felony Aggravated Residential Burglary with no bond.
