All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Delahunt began to investigate what was reported as a single vehicle Injury rollover crash on Walnut Valley Road Sunday Night.

This crash was reported about an hour after a 4-wheeler injury crash on the same road, in the same area and involving the same family.  LifeNet had dispatched an ambulance and the air crew to handle the 4-wheeler crash.

The first thing Dep. Delahunt discovered when he arrived on scene for the second crash is that, an unmarked  tow truck had removed the wrecked sedan from the scene with a flatbed wrecker and hauled it down the road to a residence.   Arkansas State Troopers are better equipped than smaller departments to investigate dynamic and serious injury crashes.  Arkansas State Police Corporal Oseguera responded to the scene and assumed the investigation of this serious injury crash scene that had allegedly been tampered with.

A child was transported by ambulance, not from the scene of the crash, but from further down the road at the residence where the vehicle was found on the flatbed wrecker, to the helicopter that had landed in a field closer to the highway.

This crash was still under investigation when I departed the scene.  Any possible charges are unknown to me.

Fountain Lake Fire & Rescue Troops responded quickly and assisted with patient care, set up the landing zone  and otherwise as needed.

The Garland County Coroner also assisted first responders as needed.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately an hour.
