Evidence at the scene suggested that the rear passenger side of the school bus made contact with the passenger side bed of the white Dodge Ram Truck.  The force of the impact shoved the Ram truck off the pavement and into a natural gas main fixture.  While the gas main itself was not damaged, the protective vehicle guard around the gas main was damaged.

70 West Fire & Rescue Troops were quick to arrive and assist as necessary.

LifeNet dispatched at least 1 Ambulance Crew and the EMS Supervisor to the scene.  I am not aware of any injuries in connection to this crash.

Lake Hamilton School District Officials that responded to the scene declined to participate in our live Facebook broadcast from the scene.  At least 2 children were on the bus at the time of the crash.  A second LHSD Bus arrived at the scene.  I assume that the students on the bus involved in the crash were transferred to the second bus to continue their trip home.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 40 minutes.
