Hot Springs Police K-9 Officer B. Jones and Keena conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 3rd Street at Crestwood Street last Sunday. Contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle.
Passenger Kaitlin Victoria Coleman, 22 of Halteria Street in Hot Springs, and driver Louvenia Christell White, 24 of 7th Street in Hot Springs, both allegedly appeared to be extremely nervous. Ms. White was asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle and she immediately looked at a clear, plastic bag that was in the drivers door handle. She hesitated to answer, and then said “no”. Consent to search the vehicle was obtained. During the consent search of the vehicle, Officer’s allegedly located a bag containing 7, multi-colored pills shaped like cartoon characters. These pills turned out to be MDMA “Methylenedioxymethamphetamine” otherwise known as “Ecstasy”.
Also allegedly located in the vehicle were meth (.25 grams), a digital scale, a loaded .380 caliber pistol and a box of .380 bullets.
Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.
Ms. Coleman is charged with Felony Simultaneous Possession Of Firearm And Drugs, Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance With Purpose To Deliver, Felony Possession Of Meth With Purpose To Deliver, Felony Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia with a bond amount totaling $ – bond not available.
Ms. White is charged with the exact same…same bond situation too.
