Injury Rear-End Crash On Amity Road – GARLAND COUNTY

Garland County Reserve Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies Webster and Terry investigated an injury rear-end crash last weekend on Amity Road near Old Brundage.

Evidence at the scene suggested that both vehicles were traveling east when the maroon vehicle struck the back of the white vehicle.  The maroon vehicle came to finally rest in the eastbound lane at the area of impact.  The white vehicle came to a controlled stop at the entrance of a subdivision.  Airbags were deployed in the maroon vehicle.

Lake Hamilton Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly.  They took charge of closing Amity Road, assisting with medical care and clean up duties.

LifeNet dispatched at least 1 Ambulance Crew and the EMS Supervisor.  At least 1 person was transported to the hospital with obvious injury.

Ernie’s Wrecker Service took charge of and removed at least 1 of the vehicles from the scene.

Traffic flow was stopped for approximately least 1 hour.
