Evidence at the scene suggested that the Westbound passenger car rear ended the box truck.  Both vehicles came to final rest in the turn lane and partially blocking the Eastbound fast lane.

Morning Star Fire & Rescue Troops arrived quickly.  They took charge of traffic control, assisted with medical care and assisted as needed.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew and the EMS Supervisor to the scene.  One injured patient was assisted out of the passenger car.  That person was transported to the hospital by LifeNet.

Traffic Flow was interrupted for approximately 40 minutes.
