Evidence at the scene showed that the SUV struck a utility pole and immediately came to final rest on the grassy roadside with utility lines tangled among the wreckage.  At least 1 pole was snapped and blocking part of the highway the vehicles horn kept honking intermittently.

The 1st help to arrive was an off-duty Morning Star Fire Troop.  He assisted the driver and took charge of the scene until relieved by responding Hot Springs Fire Troops that arrived very quickly.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene, but to my knowledge, did not transport anyone anywhere.

Entergy assisted with this crash and the poles/lines were reportedly phone gear belonging AT&T.
