Injury Crash Involving NPS Ranger Unit – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police Sergeant Kizer supervised the injury crash investigation where a National Park Service Ranger SUV collided with a civilian vehicle in the 500 Block of Spring Street yesterday afternoon.

Evidence at the scene indicated that the Ranger’s SUV may have been turning left when the crash occurred.

Hot Springs Fire Troops were quick to respond and assist as needed which included cleaning up automotive fluid that had spilled from the wreckage.

Several other NPS Rangers including Ranger Superviser Johnson arrived quickly.  They assisted as needed and downloaded the weapons and loose gear from the crashed SUV into a back-up unit.

LifeNet Crews arrived quickly and transported at least 2 people and a child.  At least 1 of these people were injured.  The Ranger involved was not injured.

Ernie’s Wrecker Service took charge of and removed at least 1 vehicle from the scene.
