Evidence at the scene suggested that the 2018 Ford truck was northbound when it crossed the entire highway and struck a southbound Chevrolet truck on the driver’s side.  The Chevrolet was disabled and came to final rest in the southbound lane.  The Ford continued a short distance before it hopped the curb, struck and came to final rest against the dirt embankment.

Hot Springs Fire & Rescue Troops were quick to arrive.  They blocked traffic from entering the scene, accessed the patient and assisted with medical care.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  An occupant in the Ford truck was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 45 minutes.
