National Park Ranger Stock investigated a single vehicle injury crash yesterday on Gorge Road in the big curve at the back of the Gorge Campground.

Evidence at the scene showed that the sedan was traveling north when it exited the pavement just prior to the curve, struck the dirt embankment, re-entered the roadway, crossed the center line in the curve and struck the guard rail on the left side of the road.  The vehicle came to final rest against the guardrail and in the southbound lane.
