Evidence at the scene showed that the westbound Ford Ranger pick-up truck crossed the centerline after negotiating a curve.  The truck crossed the center line, exited the left side of the pavement, ran slap over a telephone junction box; destroying it, struck a large trailer full of tires, careened into a chainlink fence and came to final rest tangled in the fence.

While at the scene, troopers were under the impression that alcohol may have played a part in this crash.  They went to the hospital to interview the patient involved in this episode.

The Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol arrived very quickly and assisted as necessary.

Piney Fire Troops were also very quick to arrive and assist as necessary.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  They transported 1 person to the hospital by ambulance.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 40 minutes.
