Evidence act the scene showed that the grey car was traveling south on Mountain Pine Road when the silver crossover vehicle pulled into it’s path.  The front of the car struck the driver’s side rear of the crossover.  The force of the impact shoved the crossover off the pavement where it struck an embankment.  Both vehicles came to final rest near the edge of the pavement in the intersection.

The Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol arrived quickly and assisted as needed.

Piney Fire & Rescue Troops arrived even quicker and took charge of traffic control, patient care, automotive fluid cleanup and otherwise as needed.

LifeNet dispatched 2 Ambulance Crews and the EMS Supervisor.  At least 1 person was injured and transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 40 minutes.
