Hot Springs Fire & Rescue Troops responded to a call for a structure fire on Woodlawn Avenue between Ranch Street and Seventh Street at approximately 6:30pm on August 4th, 2020.

3 engines and the shift commander arrived on scene quickly. There was light smoke when I arrived so it is unclear how serious the fire actually was. Firefighters were using a chainsaw and an axe to cut through the roof  and spray water into the residence.

Hot Springs Police assisted with traffic control on each end of the block.

Entergy also sent at least one crew to shut off power and assist as needed.

It is unknown to me if anyone was inside the house when the fire started. No injuries were reported.

This block of Woodlawn Avenue was blocked for at least 2 hours.
