According to a witness at the scene, the white Ford Ranger pick-up truck was eastbound when it crossed the centerline, hopped the left curb, ran over some signage, blasted across the Walgreens P-lot, hopped the sidewalk at the building and struck the building in a head-on fashion.  Air bags did deploy in the vehicle as a result of the crash.

70 West Fire & Rescue Troops lead by 70 West Fire Chief Autumn Carlisle were very quick to respond and assist the injured driver.

LifeNet Dispatched an Ambulance Crew and the EMS Supervisor to the scene.  The driver was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Traffic flow in the Walgreen’s P-lot was interrupted for approximately 1 hour.
