Hot Springs Police Officer Bradbury was on patrol in the area of Palm Street when he observed a black Jeep Cherokee allegedly being operated on public roads while displaying the wrong license plate. He attempted to stop the vehicle, but it allegedly fled from him.
The police report goes on to describe how the driver of the vehicle allegedly ran several stop signs in the Convention Boulevard, Gulpha Street, Grove Street, Pleasant Street, Broadway Avenue, Orange Street Area. The vehicle finally stopped at the Orange Street/Spartan Place Intersection where the driver, Parolee Bobby Lee Nutt 3, 26, of East Belding Street in Hot Springs, allegedly fled south on foot. When the suspect fled, his vehicle rolled backwards and struck the marked police vehicle that had been chasing him.
Parolee Nutt was later found inside the Burger King Restaurant on Grand Avenue, just south of Spartan Place.
Parolee Nutt was arrested and is charged with Felony Fleeing with no bond available.
