Felony Traffic Stop At The Drive-Thru; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

Garland County Sheriff’s CID & Patrol Units recognized a white Dodge Dakota in the Drive-Thru at Burger King on Central Avenue last night.  They knew that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Saline County.  The truck was occupied by 2 people at the time.

Units gathered in the area and pounced on the vehicle as soon as it cleared the drive-thru.  Both occupants were handcuffed and detained.  The female was turned loose after a short time and was allowed to leave the area.

What was being described by deputies as “burglary tools”, including a small set of bolt cutters in the driver’s door, were allegedly found inside the stolen truck.  A seemingly out of place window air conditioning unit was also located in the bed of the truck.

Kyle William Jernegan, 35, of Hot Springs – convicted felon allegedly back at it.

Kyle William Jernegan, 35, of Hot Springs, was arrested and charged with Felony Theft By Receiving and a Failure To Appear Warrant with a bond amount totaling $3,500.
