DWI Rollover Crash At Orbit Road; Arrest – GARLAND COUNTY

Garland County Reserve Patrol Deputies Terry & Webster investigated a single vehicle rollover crash on Mountain Pine Road near Orbit Road early this morning.

Evidence at the scene showed that the Chevrolet Silverado was traveling North when it exited the pavement in a curve, began to rotate, tripped, rolled over at least once and came to final rest on it’s roof.

Piney & Mountain Pine Fire and Rescue Troops arrived quickly and determined that the driver was not injured.  They assisted with traffic control and debris clean-up.

The LifeNet Ambulance Crew that had been dispatched was able to be cancelled before they got too far.

The deputies determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.  He was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for further investigation.

traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 30 minutes.
