DWI Injury Crash On Caddo Gap Road; Arrest – PEARCY

Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Sergeant Simpson supervised the investigation of a DWI injury crash on Caddo Gap Road earlier this week.

Evidence at the scene suggested that the eastbound Chevrolet Silverado truck crossed the centerline, exited the left side of the pavement, struck a tree, crossed the road, exited the right side of the pavement and came to final rest partially blocking the roadway.

70 West Fire & Rescue Troops responded quickly.  They took charge of traffic control, assisted with patient care and otherwise assisted as needed.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  2 patients were transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Holcomb’s Transport & Recovery took charge of and transported the vehicle from the scene.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately an hour.
