Witnesses at the scene stated that the SUV was westbound on Albert Pike when it crossed the entire eastbound side of the road, shot across the corner of an adjacent property, crossed Afton Street and struck the building head-on.

Hot Springs Fire Troops were already on Afton Street tending to another 911 call at that location at the time of the crash.  They responded to the scene immediately and assisted as necessary.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew that met with the driver of the SUV, but did not transport her to the hospital.

HSPD Corporal Tinney arrived and assisted with the DWI investigation.  Standardized Field Sobriety Testing was conducted.  At the conclusion of the test, the driver, Miranda Ammons was handcuffed and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for further investigation.
