Evidence at the scene showed that the westbound sedan crossed the center line, hopped the left curb, ran over a small tree or 2, struck a huge landscape boulder, crossed Lemons Street and slammed head-on into the church.

Hot Springs Fire & Rescue Troops responded quickly and assisted as necessary which included inspecting the inside of the building when the Pastor arrived to take charge of the building.

LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene.  They transported the driver by ambulance to the hospital.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 45 minutes.
