Evidence at the scene showed that the driver failed to negotiate the curve, drove off the left side of the pavement, struck a small set of trees, overturned and came to final rest on it’s passenger side…hidden by trees just inside the woods.

Morning Star Fire Troops were quick to arrive.  They went straight to work trying to locate the driver.  They even took out the thermal imager (used to find hot spots or fire in buildings) and scanned the woods and roadside looking for people.  Blood was found inside the car.  So, someone is injured somewhere.

A LifeNet Ambulance Crew arrived quickly and were all ready to save lives, but the only person found near the scene was the neighbor that heard the crash and called 911.

Ernie’s Wrecker Service took charge of the vehicle and removed it from the scene.

Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 45 minutes.
