Car Abandoned In Creek; Defaced Firearm Confiscated – GARLAND COUNTY

Garland County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Green investigated an abandoned vehicle situation where the vehicle was found in a creek on Cedar Creek Road on Monday.

Witnesses found the vehicle and called GCSO Dispatch.  The caller said that the people inside the car at the time it went into the creek fled the scene on foot.

GCSO Patrol Sergeant Kellar located a defaced firearm inside the vehicle and confiscated it.

Another vehicle was found abandoned in a Lake Catherine Creek near Essex Park Golf Course earlier the same day.
