(Yesterday), ACC’s Special Response Team found and arrested capital murder suspect Andre Jackson, who has been the subject of a manhunt for several days. In the photo, Jackson is wearing the black ball cap. He was apprehended at a motel near the Little Rock Airport. Officers on the scene report that Jackson resisted arrest and had to be tased. He is not injured and has been taken to the Pulaski County Jail.

Capital Murder Suspect Andre Jackson was taken back into custody yesterday following a corrections administrative oversight that prematurely set this suspect free from jail.

Jackson was released from the Department of Correction in March because he had discharged his sentence. But, he should have been released only to Pulaski County to be held on the Capital Murder Charge. But, local law enforcement had not filed a detainer with ADC so the prison system was not aware of the Capital Murder Charge. The charge stems from the July 2017 shooting death of an Italian Tourist in Little Rock.

ACC Officers also arrested Tiffany Kumpe in connection with the Jackson case. She has been charged with Hindering Apprehension, which is a felony. Tonight’s arrests were the result of outstanding work by ACC Officers.
