Hot Springs Police Officer Davis was dispatched to Timber Crest Mobile Home Park Monday Afternoon in reference to a violent person breaking windows and making a death threat.
The report states that a female was moving out of the trailer park. She was in the process of removing things from a camper when the owner of the property arrived. The female told John David Barron, 58, of 3921 Central Avenue in Hot Springs, to leave several times, but he allegedly refused and became very aggressive towards her. He allegedly told her that she was not going anywhere.
Mr. Barron allegedly grabbed a 3 ft. piece of wood and gave her car what for. He allegedly busted out every window except the windshield. Also allegedly beaten were the hood and the rear window frame area. A witness named in the report supposedly watched him bust up the car.
At the end of the alleged window rampage, the victim told Mr. Barron that she was going to call the police. Mr. Barron allegedly responded by saying that he was going to kill her if she tried to leave. The victim departed the area and called 911.
Officers arrived and arrested Mr. Barron. While searching him, they allegedly discovered 19.2 grams of marijuana in his pocket. They also allegedly found a marijuana pipe in his other pocket.
The damage done to the vehicle is noted in the report as being $5,000.
Mr. Barron is charged with Felony Terroristic Threatening, Felony Criminal Mischief, Possession Of A Controlled Substance and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia with a bond amount totaling $100,000.
