When will I get my tax refund?
All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Hot Springs Police Officer Rollins responded to the area of Mountain View Street in reference to a burglary in progress and found 2 white males walking near the Avery Street Intersection.
Off. Rollins made contact with the 2 suspicious males as HSPD Officer Plummer arrived to assist. The caller had reported that 2 white males were with flashlights were looking through the windows of their residence…at 2:51AM.
One of the males identified himself. The other fella allegedly hesitated and said that he might have a warrant out through HSPD. The he 2nd male was detained for refusing to identify himself and possibly being wanted.
The 2nd guy finally came to his senses and identified himself as Nathaniel Myers, 43, homeless in Hot Springs. That information was run through the police computer and came back with a valid arrest warrant. Mr. Myers was arrested and searched.
The search incident to arrest allegedly produced 2 baggies containing a combined 1.8 grams of meth and a backpack full of flashlights and common burglary tools.
Mr. Myers was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.
Mr. Myers is charged with Possession Of A Controlled Substance with a bond amount of $2,500.
