Hot Springs Police held their 2nd Annual “Bridging The Gap” Community Event on May 20th at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
Hot Springs Police Chief Stachey and Assistant Police Chief Chapmond brought along several police officers including members of the HSPD K-9 Unit. They also passed out free hot dogs to the public. Garland County Undersheriff Lawrence brought several deputies and the Tactical Response Team’s Vehicle.
Hot Springs Fire Chief Davis was on hand with several of his Fire Troops and the biggest fire truck the city owns.
Other agencies participating in the event included Hot Springs Animal Services (with on-site adoptable puppies), LifeNet (with an ambulance and all the life saving gear), Army National Guard (with a remote control tracked robot that people could play with) and more.
They had bouncy houses for the kids and a climbing station for everyone to try.
The event was another big success for those that participated.
