Allegedly: There’s Only About 100 Video Surveillance Cameras At WalMart; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police Detective Jessup reports that a WalMart Boss reported a breaking and entering and theft of necklaces last month.

A jewelry display case had been broken into and 6 silver necklaces ($888.00) were missing.  The WM Boss reviewed the video surveillance footage and was able to find a person, known to him, breaking the lock on the case and remove the necklaces.  He concealed the necklaces in his jacket and immediately departed the store.

Damage to the display case was valued at $98.05.

Det. Jessup reviewed the footage and verified the suspect’s identity as Parolee Christian Alexander Bice, 27, of Belvedere Drive in Hot Springs.

Parolee Christian Alexander Bice, 27, of Belvedere Drive in Hot Springs – Allegedly broke open a jewelry box in WalMart and left the store with over $800 in jewelry..all in plain view of so many video cameras, you can’t count them all if you tried…….while on parole.

Det. Jessup obtained an arrest warrant for Parolee Bice and entered it into the police computer.

Parolee Bice was at the courthouse for some reason on January 12, 2021, around 2PM.  While there, Officer Israel made contact with him and arrested him on the spot.

Parolee Bice was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.  He is charged with Felony Breaking Or Entering, Theft Of Property and Criminal Mischief with bond initially set at $4,500.  The Arkansas State Parole Board has since placed a hold on him.
