Allegedly: Parolee With Dope At Skate Park After Hours; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer Cox reports that officers were patrolling Valley Street on January 11, 2021, around 3AM, when they noticed 2 suspicious vehicles parked at the skate park, which closes at 10PM.

Officers made contact with the driver of the 2000 Lincoln Town Car.  They checked his pertinents in the police computer and learned that they were dealing with wanted Parolee Demeko Antonio Crawford, 36, of Manor Lane in Hot Springs.

Parolee Crawford was arrested and searched.  Officers located approximately .7 gram meth and approximately 1.9 grams of marijuana during the search.

Parolee Crawford was transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.  He is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance and Possession Of A Controlled Substance with bond set at $4,500.  An outstanding Failure To Appear warrant was served and a parole hold has since been placed.
