Allegedly Can’t Stop Trespassing; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police Officer 1st Class Scrimshire reports the following:

On 05/12/19 at approximately 1230 hours, I OFC Scrimshire 176, responded to 899 Park Ave (Family Dollar Store) in reference to Tresspassing.  Upon arrival, I made contact with the complainant (Employee).

The complainant stated on 05/12/19 at approximately 1215 hours a Jemmerio Brown entered the store at 899 Park Ave.  They have had continuous issues with Brown and he has been banned on numerous occasions.  The complainant stated approximately two weeks prior to this incident she informed Brown he was banned.  The complainant stated Family Dollar wanted to pursue charges and a warrant for arrest was obtained.

Jemmerio Tyrell Brown, 18, of Bailey Place in Hot Springs – allegedly unable to stay out of the Family Dollar Store.

HSPD Officer Ugartechea reports the following:

On 07/06/19 at approximately 1116 hours, I Off. J. Ugartechea #177 responded to the area of Whittington/Cedar Street in reference to a breaking or entering.  Upon arrival contact was made with the complainant who stated that she parked her car (2016 Mazda CX-5) in the North Arlington parking lot at approximately 10:40 hours.

The complainant stated that, she returned to her vehicle at 1108 hours to find a B/M standing next to her vehicle.  The complainant stated she yelled at him, and he fled in the area towards Cedar Street.  The complainant described the B/M as 5’10”, gray shorts, back pack, no shirt, and flip flops.  The complainant noted that she believes she left the vehicle unlocked, and the only thing missing was $60.00 dollars cash (3 – 20 dollar bills).

A short time later Off C. Howerton located a B/M (Jemmerio Tyrell Brown) matching the description provided by the complainant.  The male was taken into custody due to having a valid warrant through HSPD, during a search the $60.00 was located on his person, and was returned to the complainant.  Brown was transported to GCDC for processing.

Upon arrival at the GCDC, a search was being done of Brown’s property and 0.2 grams of marijuana was located in a cigarette pack belonging to Brown.

Mr. Brown is charged with Criminal Trespass, Felony Breaking Or Entering, and Possession Of A Controlled Substance with a bond amount totaling $4,250.
