Allegedly Breaks In..Lays On Floor Till Homeowner Arrives; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

Hot Springs Police Officer K. Moore reports the following:

On 07/16/19 at approximately 2246 hours I, Off. Moore 116 and OFC Chapin 167 responded to a residence in reference to a burglary in progress.  Once in the area of Golf Links Road I observed a white male matching the description of the burglary suspect laying along the side of the road.  Contact was made with the subject and he was identified as Robert Benjamin See JR.  See was slurring his speech, had bloodshot watery eyes and was unsteady on his feet.

Robert Benjamin See, 22, of Mountain Pine Road in Mountain Pine, allegedly busted into a home and laid on the floor until the homeowner arrived.

Contact was made with the homeowner.  He stated that when he arrived home at approximately 2250 on 07/16/19 he observed the window of his residence had been broken.  Upon entering his residence he observed See laying in his living room floor.  The homeowner stated that See then left the residence on foot heading toward Golf Links Road.

While officers had See detained, the victim positively identified See as the individual inside his residence.

Mr. See, 22, of Mountain Pine Road in Garland County was arrested and transported to Garland County Detention Center for processing.  He is charged with Felony Residential Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Public Intoxication with a bond amount totaling $6,500.
