All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Hot Springs Police Officer Larkin reports that he was alerted by a neighbor that homeless people were in the back of a house on Trivista Right and they were not supposed to be there.
Off. Larkin arrived and found a person hiding in a shed. He ordered the person to show his hands and come out. The guy refused. Finally, he came out and identified himself. He stuck with his story for a while, but then, at long last, he gave his real name.
The officers checked James Thalacker, 38, of Timberlake Drive in Royal, in the police computer. The check revealed that he was wanted in Garland County. He was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.
Another search of Mr. Thalacker’s person was conducted at the booking room. This search resulted in the seizure of 1.1 grams of meth.
Mr. Thalacker is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance and Obstructing Governmental Operations with bond set at $3,000.
