Alleged: Wanted Person, Previously Banned Twice From Walmart..Trespassing And Stealing At Walmart; Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer Howerton reports that she and Officer Chapin were dispatched to Walmart on Albert Pike Road last weekend for the call of a previously banned person that was in the store attempting to shoplift merchandise.

The officers arrived and made contact with a loss prevention employee that told them that Terry Jerrod Jones, 36, of Hobson Avenue, had been banned by Walmart Staff on May 5, 2017 and again by this employee on August 17, 2018.  He provided all the necessary paperwork to prove his point.

The employee said that Mr. Jones was in the store concealing DVDs inside a backpack.

Mr. Jones was stopped and arrested for being in the store while banned (trespassing).  His pertinents were checked through the police computer. The check revealed that he had 2 outstanding arrest warrants charging Theft Of Property and Failure To Pay.

Mr. Jones was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.  He is charged with Trespassing with bond set at $750 and both warrants were served.
