All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Hot Springs Police Officer McAdoo reports that he was on patrol in the area of Park Junction when he saw an unlicensed red Dodge Avenger run a stop sign.
Off. McAdoo turned on the blue lights and conducted a traffic stop at Cedar Street. He made contact with the driver and advised why he stopped her. He asked both the driver and passenger, Larry W. Duplessis, Jr., 45, of Carney Street in Hot Springs, for identification.
Mr. Duplessis’s information was checked through the police computer and he was found to have an arrest warrant out of HSPD on him. Mr. Duplessis was arrested and searched.
During the search, Off. McAdoo found .6 gram of meth and a .5 gram crack cocaine rock in his pants pocket.
Mr. Duplessis was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.
