Alleged: Traffic Stop..Over $10,000 In Stolen Property Recovered By HSPD; Felony Arrest – HOT SPRINGS

All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.

Hot Springs Police Officer McAdoo reports that he was on patrol in the Millcreek Road area on February 24, 2021, around 11AM when he found a Uhaul truck pulling an unlicensed box trailer with defective tail lights.  Off. McAdoo turned on the blue lights and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.

Off. McAdoo made contact with the driver, Tyler Scott Martin, 26, of Ledgerock Road in Garland County.  During the course of the contact, officers noticed a label affixed to the trailer displaying a name.  Officers had their dispatch make phone contact with the name on the label.  They did.  That person was the owner of the trailer.  The victim said that no one should have this $1,000 trailer or the $10,000 gear inside it.  The victim was enthusiastic about pressing charges.

Tyler Scott Martin, 26, of Ledgerock Road in Garland County – Allegedly driving around in a uhaul, pulling an unlicensed stolen trailer.

Mr. Martin was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing.  He is Charged with Felony Theft By Receiving with bond set at $3,500.
