All suspects are presumed innocent until determined guilty in court.
Hot Springs Police Sergeant Tinney and his patrol shift responded to the 700 Block of Spring Street for the call of a shooting that had just taken place.
HSPD had been dispatched to this same area earlier in the evening in reference to reports of gunfire. They responded at the time, but did not find anything. But, This time, they caught Julius Joseph Dominic Nash, 19, of Spring Street in Hot Springs, running from the scene. They arrested him quickly on Vine Street.
LifeNet dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene. They went into an apartment and met with the female victim that had been shot in the foot. The victim was able to hobble to the ambulance under her own power. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Mr. Nash is charged with Felony Terroristic Act and Felony Domestic Battery 2nd Degree with bond set at $25,000 and a no bond hold in place.
Unrelated to this incident, but notable nonetheless; Mr. Nash has previously been charged in separate incidents, in Hot Springs, with shooting a person that was riding in a car and stabbing a person which punctured his lung.
